How many Members’ guest passes is a Member allowed to purchase?

This is at the discretion of the Race Secretary on the particular race day, depending on the available facilities. 

 

What are the dress regulations for the Members Room?

 *Smart, casual attire and footwear is required at all times. 

* Socks are required with men’s dress shorts. 

* Denim is acceptable providing the overall appearance is smart neat and clean. 



The following attire is not permitted:


* Shorts (other than dress shorts)

* Sporting attire and sporting footwear

* T-shirts without collars

* Tank tops

* Bare midriffs

* Thongs and workboots.

 

Can children go into the Members Enclosure?

Yes, provided they are supervised by an adult at all times, unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.

 

What time do gates open?

Gates open at 10:30am every Saturday.  Offcourse betting generally begins with the Southern races from 11:00am with oncourse bookmakers and full tote facilities.
 

Where is lost property?

All lost property is returned to secretary’s office.

 

Is smoking allowed on the grounds?

How much is general admission to the racecourse?

General admission is just $6 for adults on normal Saturday meets.  Feature race days vary, contact the Secretarys Office for further details.

 

Can I bring my children to the races? Are there any restrictions?

Toowoomba Turf Club welcomes all children and families for normal meets, however children should be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES. Weetwood and Toowomba Cup Raceday for 2010 will be an OVER 18 event only, connections of racing will need to pre purchase passes if they wish to bring children who will only be allowed in designated areas.
